Meet Dan

A native of Milbank, South Dakota, Dan graduated from Northern State College in 1968. He taught business and accounting in Aberdeen and Sioux Falls, and coached wrestling at O'Gorman High School.

Dan's focus has always been honest, professional service backed by experience. It's a dedication his son Jeff learned early. Now Dan and Jeff have combined their experience and enthusiasm to bring you successful results in real estate.

Dan began his real estate career in 1974. He founded Ameri-Star Real Estate in 1989.

Today, Dan is one of the most experienced and respected agents in Sioux Falls.

Beyond his business success, Dan is known for his honesty, friendliness, community involvement and professionalism. He was named Realtor of the Year by the Sioux Falls Board of Realtors in 1996 and served as the President of the organization in 1994-95.

Dan is a former President of the DakotAbilities Board of Directors and a current member of the Howard Wood Relays Board and The Banquet Board. He enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, and running. Dan and his wife, Betsy, have three sons, Jeff, Jim and John, and a daughter, Becca.
